Madaket Growth calls from the history of industrial and commercial enterprises as well as mighty real estate undertakings from a historically-significant lead mining business from the early 19th and 20th century - Desloge Consolidated Lead Company
, and the modern involvement in development, financing and management of equity partnerships and large-scale commercial real estate office leasing transactions throughout the country. Originally known as the modern Desloge Consolidated Lead Company in 2004, Madaket Growth changed its name to reflect its forward-looking, 21st century
growth expectations through multiple company national expansions and development or expansion of new businesses compatible with our cross-discipline, cross-benefit strategy.
Madaket Growth was established in 2004 as Desloge Consolidated Lead Company by Christopher D Desloge, whose family legacy in the lead mining business dates back to the early-1800’s when Frenchman Firmin Rene Desloge and then his son Firmin opened major, deep lead mines and works in eastern Missouri. With its several company brands, Profit Growth International, Cutwater Shift, Buyers Agency USA, Private Equity Group and others, this New York and MIssouri-based company begins a new chapter in the Desloge family industrialist story as Madaket Growth.

Madaket Growth takes its name from Madaket area and harbor of Nantucket Island, Massachusetts, thirty miles off shore off of Cape Cod, in the Atlantic Ocean. Madaket is a name of a small village on the west side of Nantucket Island, and about five miles from the town. It is situated on an excellent, protected harbor of the same name. Madaket is an Indian word describing the flat, low land encircling the rich fishing and scallop grounds under easily-covered flat waters protected from the roiling Atlantic Ocean on the south and the calmer Nantucket Sound on the north by long arms of sand reaches. Long known for its life-sustaining fish, oysters, clams and scallop and large variety of fish, Madaket represents the full richness of life coupled with the natural beauty of saw grass covered dunes, sea birds and brilliant sunsets and deep blue water.
Madaket Growth reflects the spirit of the richness of Madaket Harbor and its surrounding land by focusing its economic growth on high-margin, service-based businesses specialized by the addition of key services which place them with a Blue Water Strategy: “creating new demand in an uncontested market space, or a "Blue Ocean", rather than compete head-to-head with other suppliers in an existing industry” Blue oceans denote all the industries not in existence today – the unknown market space, untainted by competition. In blue oceans, demand is created rather than fought over. There is ample opportunity for growth that is both profitable and rapid. In blue oceans, competition is irrelevant because the rules of the game are waiting to be set. Blue ocean is an analogy to describe the wider, deeper potential of market space that is not yet explored. The cornerstone of Blue Ocean Strategy is 'Value Innovation'. A blue ocean is created when a company achieves value innovation that creates value simultaneously for both the buyer and the company. The innovation (in product, service, or delivery) must raise and create value for the market, while simultaneously reducing or eliminating features or services that are less valued by the current or future market. Blue ocean strategy is based on the view that market boundaries and industry structure are not given and can be reconstructed by the actions and beliefs of industry players.1
